On Friday P.1/2 had a walk outside to look for signs of winter. We saw frost on the grass and plants, ice in the bird bath and ice in a pot. The ground was hard from the snow and frost. We put fresh water in the bird bath and left fat balls out for the birds so they can have some food. We saw how the ice melted when it was warm in our hands. We followed on from this today by listening to and completing sequencing on the story ‘Sneezy the snowman’ who kept melting when he got too warm.
