Drumlin Wind Energy STEM workshop in P5/6/7
26th Mar 2026
Our P5–P7 pupils took part in an exciting Drumlin Wind Energy Workshop, exploring how wind power is generated and the importance of wind turbines. Pupils investigated renewable energy, learned how turbine blades work, and designed their own mini wind turbines to test using different blade angles and shapes. Through hands on STEM challenges and teamwork, pupils discovered how engineering, geography and sustainability connect in the real world. A brilliant mix of learning, creativity and problem-solving!
