Afterschool Cookery Club – Stirring Up Skills and Scones!

Pupils at St. Mary’s Primary School have been cooking up a storm in the afterschool cookery club led by the ever-enthusiastic Mrs. Collins and Mrs. Mulligan. This fun-filled club not only teaches children how to follow recipes and measure ingredients, but also nurtures valuable life skills such as teamwork, responsibility, and confidence in the kitchen. From learning about food hygiene to mastering basic baking techniques, the children are gaining practical knowledge that will serve them well for years to come. And of course, the highlight of every session is enjoying the delicious, freshly baked scones together – a tasty reward for their hard work and a lovely way to end the day!
